Shoot to GOLD – Abhinav Bindra

Abhinav Bindra

Abhinav Bindra

I was ready to quit after Athens” but at Beijing, Life will never be the same for Abhinav Bindra the India’s first individual gold medal winner in the morden Olympics. Indians have never felt the proud feeling of receiving the gold medal before with the Indian national anthem playing and tri-color flying high. read the statement made during the opening ceremony by one commentator says “47 Indians represent Olympics from 1 billion Indians…” Statistic show India has never won more than 1 medal (except in 1952).

Will this mean life for Abhinav will change? look at what he has earned life free AC train travel, about 1.85 cr WoW. But this what he had to say after winning “They have all been telling me what a huge achievement winning Gold is…. Honestly enough it really has not changed me; I am still the same Abhinav who just a day ago was hanging around alone in my room in the Olympic village.” Success popularize him and but life did not change does that really happen?

“SUCCESS” matters in this world of competitions in every field whether sports, studies, work or for that matter LIFE. Greater success, greater LIFE; that’s what the society and people looking at. But do we ever think of the sacrifice one has to make to gain such LIFE, Abhinav say’s “In fact, I do not have a life beyond the confines of the 10m range. I have had a range built in my own home to cut down any possibility of distraction and to be able to practice my sport whenever the fancy strikes me. It all did pay off, didn’t it?… That in no way means that this is not the most intense experience of my life.” this reminds me of a saying “What profits a man if gains the whole world and lose his own LIFE?”

Prepares we need put LIFE first: “LIFE’s success rather than successful LIFE “ this is what every sport person, IT professional, business man, political leaders or a Person look for successful LIFE needs to do. Aim at the Goal of Life… then shoot it with 100%, cant grantee Gold, sliver or bronze one thing is for sure LIFE of success.

Wishing others in Olympics; LIFE full of success.

Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane na Movie Review

Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane na

Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane na

Jaane tu… the most awaited movie of in this month. The first reason is it’s an AAMIR KHAN production, the perfectionist & second reason the music, A. R. RAHMAN. But bit surprised that it was Imran Khan, Genelia and gang of friends all the way.

Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane na is a light hearted, feel good and close to life movie. it will make you laugh, will make you feel sad ( a little ), will show you various face of human relationship and in the end you will find yourself nicely entertained but also thinking CAN WE FIND MY TRUE LOVE IN MY FRIEND? and when do you know its LOVE?

This is the debut movie of Imran Khan, nephew of superstar khan i.e. Aamir Khan. Well, movie is surely an entertainer and you will find yourself comfortable throughout the movie. Characters in the movie are life like. Movie revolves around few college buddies i.e. Jai Singh Rathore (Imran Khan), Aditi (Genelia), Jignesh Patel (Nirav Mehta), Sandhya (Aliskha Varde), Shaleen (Sughanda) and Rotlu (Karan) who are there each other and enjoying every moment of LIFE as the gang of friends.

Genelia!!!! She simply rocked, she looked so beautiful, so refreshing yet girl next door and she acted pretty well. Imran Khan, the new kid on the block, full marks, he perfectly fit in the character of Jay. The music, Hats off to A. R. Rahman, no one can beat him superb stuff.

NOW what’s new in that every movie review says that it’s must watch movie for College going kids but why? But what’s the different from other movies?

While Jai and Aditi are in love but they both never realize it call themselves JUST FRIENDS even when there parents talk about the marriage and the story moves on how they accept their loves and related. They even decide that since they know each other so well they will find a life partner for each other. Lots of emotions are in the movie while characters are made funny but acceptable and are delight to watch.

But JUST FRIENDS??? How can that be? Will the society or the culture accept such relationships? But can you hide your LOVE (If it’s genuine)? Is our individual stand affect other? how do they fall in LOVE? And why did they have to choose partners for each other? most importantly “WHEN DO YOU KNOW ITS LOVE”

What’s your say: Can we find true LOVE in our friends?

Yes, LOVE is can happen anywhere, anytime, with anyone.

NO, expressing ones LOVE can spoil the FRIENDSHIP that exists.

Comment NOW not seen the movie see the trailer

WHO IS THIS MAN?

JesusHe was born contrary to the laws of nature, lived in poverty, reared in obscurity, only crossed the boundary of the land once in childhood. He had neither wealth nor influence, and had neither training nor education. His relatives were inconspicuous and un-influential. In infancy he startled a king, in boyhood he puzzled the doctors, in manhood ruled the course of nature

He healed the multitudes without medicine and made no charge for his service. He never wrote a book,
yet all the libraries of the country could not hold the books that have been written about him. He never wrote a song, yet he has furnished the theme of songs than the all the songwriters combined. He never founded a college, yet all the schools together cannot boast of as many students as he has. He never practiced medicine, and yet he healed more broken hearts than the doctors’ broken bodies.

He never marshaled an army, drafted a soldier, nor fired a gun! Yet no leader ever made more volunteers, who have under his orders made rebels stack arms and surrender without a shot being fired! He laid aside the purple robe for a peasant’s gown. He was rich, yet for our sake he became poor. He slept in another’s place, He cruised the lake in another’s boat. He rode on another man’s donkey. He was buried in another man’s tomb great men have come and gone; yet He lives on. Herod could not kill him. Satan could not seduce him, death could not destroy him, the grave could not hold him! All failed, but he never. The ever-perfect One; the chief among the thousand; He is our
Savior and Lord! And it’s all about Him – Jesus!

Why the Name ‘Good Friday’!!

Good FridayWe all know very well that Christmas is the day when the almighty God of Heaven and Earth came in the form of a human being to this small planet ‘Earth’.

Now Good Friday is the day in which, Lord Jesus Christ who was born on Christmas day died a cruel death on the cross. Having undergone such a cruel death on this day 2000 years ago, how could the people then dare to call it as a ‘Good’ Friday. Does this question spring like a gush of water within you? No doubt about it and it is quite natural for any one to think like that. Now we will try to find out some truth on this whether the people who named it were wrong or is there really some significance in the name ‘Good Friday’.

Let us see what the Bible says in the Old Testament (written before the coming of Jesus) about the purpose of Jesus to come into this wretched world.

“Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; even though we thought he was being punished and afflicted for something he had done.He was wounded for our ansgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his wounds we are healed”

From the above scriptures we can well understand that Jesus came to save the world. In order to save the world, He has to undertake a very difficult path that is nothing but the cross. And in that cross, he took all of our sins on himself and died for us.

In continuation of the above, we read in the New Testament (written after the death and resurrection of Jesus).

“ The Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin ”.

Irrespective of caste, creed or religion, the death of Jesus Christ is for the entire mankind. Anyone who believes and confesses his sins and accepts Jesus Christ as his /her personal saviour, he can truly enjoy a personal relationship with God. And also, he or she receives a hope to live eternally with this loving God.

Having understood the fact, please decide for yourself whether the day is to be called as Good or Bad….

Have a meaningful Good Friday and a wonderful Easter (The Day Jesus resurrected from the dead)

Facing Your Fears

Santosh WilliamHow real is FEAR? Are u ready to FACE it when it comes your way?… I believe it’s all a part of this Life’s Journey. It happened to me and I would like to share it with you, so that you can rejoice with me for what God has done for me and encourage each other.

31st July 2007, it’s the day I will never forget. My parents were out of station for ministry purpose. On that day while returning from work at night, as I was driving home I thought about how much I love MY house. I have always tried to take care of MY beautiful house in which I have lived for past six years.

When I was just 50 meters away from MY house I sensed something had happened to MY house. I just overlooked the thought regarding it just an imagination. I parked my bike and headed towards the door with keys in my hand. When I reached, I saw the lock and the bolt was detached from the door and the house was open. I stood there in state of shock. A particular kind of fear gripped my heart and this fear was unknown to me hitherto. I realised my hands were shivering and a chillness ran through my body. Somehow I took courage to push the door; inside the room it was very dark. My only defence to whatever may come was my Helmet. Soon I discovered my house was robbed and rien-sacked. The house was in chaos. Can you imagine my FEAR?

fear_jesus1.gif

I would like to stress on the word FEAR. If you keep focus on your self in any situation it is very difficult to overcome. We can not overcome by our own strength.

If I keep crying over the fact that someone robbed MY house and keep cribbing about it, what difference will it make? The Bible says in James 1: 2 – 4 (The Promise Bible)
2.Dear Brother & sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy.
3.For when your faith is tested your endurance has a chance to grow
4.So let it grow, from when
your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything

Wonderful passage! It made me think differently about the situation I was in. My Fear was because I was left alone, The Word of God also says in psalm 56:3 that “when I am afraid, I will trust in you.”fear_sin.gif

Satan uses FEAR to destroy mind and body, Fear destroys but Faith creates. “God’s Word is health to all our flesh” (Proverbs 3:8) Dr Charles Mayo said, “I have never known anyone who died of overwork, but I have known many who died from fear, anxiety, worry.”

I was in the state of fear of insecurity and HIS Word assured me that his protection & deliverance is the way to overcome fear in difficult situations. Stand firm in your belief that you have been delivered. If anything has been oppressing you, command it to go in the name

of Jesus Christ. If the fear seeks to return in any form, call out to Jesus Christ as your intercessor and mediator before the throne of God. Follow these steps again as the Holy Spirit would guide you and as you continue to do this and centre your life on Jesus Christ in every area, your deliverance from fear will remain.

“On my Life’s journey there are will be FEARS, but the Lord strengthens me with HIS WORD… this is just the beginning of my journey”
